MASTERTON ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY.
Visitors to the Masterfcoa Hospital grounds, to-morrow, will have ah opportunity of listening to a programme of select musio which will be given by the Masterton Orchestral Society. Quite recently the members of the Society gave a concert in the Town Hall, which, from a popular musical standpoint, is acknowledged by competent judges to have been of an exceptionally enjoyable cbaraoter. While avoiding anything like an invasion of the dey of rest, it is iutendod to repeat some of the best items that were produced on the! occasion referred to. The Hospital grounds at present are radient with flowers, so that there will be a combination of attractions. It will be seen from an announcement elsewhere that visitors arejj'nvifcpd. The Society will perform between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. An opportunity wilt be afforded those of the public who patronise the sounds to contribute to the Furnishing Fund. Any aid of this bind will prove most timely, the Trustees having of late found it necessary tu incur some expenditure in increasing the equipment of the institution.
