PERRY'S BIORAMA.
Perry's Biorama Company opened a short season iu the Masterton Town Hall last evening. The hall was filled, and tho audience were generous in their applause. The oomDany pos3ess>s an elaborate and up to-date electric lighting plant, and by this means they are able to put ou pictures whioh are exceptionally well lighted ttnd almost free from flicker. Though aoao of the pictures which were shown last evening have been seen in Masterton, before, there were a large number whioh were new to Masterton audiences, and, taken all through, the films were interesting and instructive. A splendid film was that showing portions of the New Zealand International Exhibition. The spectator was first given a panoramid view of the buildings, •;hen the Iroops lining up outisde the main entrance and the Governor's arrival. In the latter portion of the picture many of the Ministers could be recognised. A view of therside-shows followed, and not the least interesting of these was shooting the chute." Anothergood film was the French Pass and the famous fish, Pelorue Jaok. The Wairoa geyser at Rotorna was shown in aotion. Among tho other films that deserve scoqlbl mention were, "jJeauty and tho Baasfc," "Samrner Boarders," "lhe Visaing Legaqy.," "Grandpa and the Butterfly," and "The Biitidsmau's Child." Several songs ware, rendered by the members of the company during the evening, and each item was warmly applauded. The Masterton season will be trought to a close this evening, when practically a new sst qJC pictures will be shojvn.
