PALMERSTON NORTH NEWS.
By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON NORTH November 22 Susan Cole and John Moughan were charged at the S M. Court with having m July last caused bodily harm to Agnes Moughan, wife of accused. Moughan, from which death resulted; and also Jthat during the same period accused with intent to procure miscarriage used an instrument upon Agnes Moughan. The dying de-. positions of deceased taken before Mr Thompson, S.M., were put in evidence in which the deceased stated the accused (Cole), twice operated upon her. The medical evidence was to the effect that death was due to septic poisoning caused by laceration of the internal organs. Accused were each committed for trial on tho second count. Bail was refused.
