WOMAN SUFFRAGISTS.
PRISON PREFERRED TO FINE, Reoeived November 21, 8.36 a.m. LONDON, November 20. Miss Milne, who was arrested in connection with tbe attempted demonstration m tbe police yard, on being charged in court, was fined ten shillings, with tbe alternative of a week's imprisonment. She eleoted to go to prison. When informed that the meeting was contrary to law, she told ' the police tbat she did not acknowledge any law.
