"QUERY'S" QUESTIONS.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—'Your correspondent "Query," mast have had a (airly steep kind of thirafc-N for something stronger than "knowledge" when he got mixed up between the sergeant's house, the police cells, and the stabiee. However, let ne answer one or two of his questions. The County Council is busy with a tangi about rhe cost of the las'; Licensing election; it is also making neoossary arrangements'tor the execution of W. Gillespie, the returning officer. When these matters are satisfactorily settled and when a few people havo been killed on th« Waipoua bridges, the northern approach may be attended to. The museum: This has been forwarded to the Ohristohurch Exhibition, and is the chief attraction in "Wonderland." These are all the questions I oan answer right off the mark, but I am going to approach Mr J. <J. Bod dingtohV the secretary of the Chamber of Commerce, and I may be able to pump him for answers to the remaining queries.—1 am, etc., PADDY MOK PHY.
