By Telegraph—Press Association. Received November 20, 9.47 a.m. SYDNEY, November 20. Owing to the demand for frozen mutton for export, prioes at'Homebush, yesterday, were very high. Shorn orosabred wethers brought 20s 9d, and merinos 20s, whioh are records for the season. Reoolved November 20,9.54 a.m. MELBOURNE, Nov. 20. The wool sale was animated and competition good for all classes Both merino and crossbred advanced a farthing to a halfpenny under strong American competition. Greasy merinos and erossbreds sold to 15% d, orosabred lambs , 15% d. These prices constitute records for the season. PAHIATUA STOCK SALE REPORT. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report on their fortnightly stook sale at Pahiatua, yesterday, as follows : No, sheep offered. Cattle came forward in large uambers, being principally of the young class with a few lots of dairy cows, fbeef, and heifers. On the whole the quality was better than usual, and, with a good demand, "we effected a clearance. Yearlings, according to age and class, ranged from 20s to 475; empty cows and heifers, 30s tn 60s; dairy oows and heifers, 45s to 655; light beef cows, £4 to £4 16s. No big cattle were yarded.
