"FAUST" BY BIOGRAPH.
The Town Hall will o» ooonpied this evening by Cooper's Biograph Company. Included amongst the pictures to be shown is one of the \ opera "Faust." . The Evening Poet of November 10th says:—Two produotiona of up-to-date pictures were given in the iown Hall yesterday. 'lbe rpproduotiona of scenes from the well-known opera "Fanst" was beautifully done, tna pictures being cleat and coloured, and the film lengthy. There were numerous other pictures ranging in treatment "from grave Kay, from lively to severe." . Tho realistic adveutures of a fireman and of a policeman alternated with the cares | of a father worried by a hungry infant, and the chase after a lost wig; some scenes from Maori life in Eofcorua were strong contrasts to the penis of Sherlock Holmes; and the misad ventures of an absorbed man raised roars of laughter. Interspersed with the records of tbe biograph were vocal contributions by Miss Louie Fisher, whose voice was sweet and nfcrong. and her enunciation clear. A matinee w*ll be given in the Town Hall to morrow afternoon at 3 o'clock.
