PAHIATUA DISTRICT COURT.
By Telegraph—Presa Association. PAHIATUA, November 15. At a sitting of the District Court, before Judge blaaeldeu, William Beaufort and George Little, two youths, for assault on a young girJ, ware sentenced to six weeks' imprisonment in Wel'ington Gaol, the Judge stating that instructions would be given to the gaoler that both prisoners bo kept separate and apart from other prisoners. For assault, John Polley was admitted' to six months' probation, and ordered t.o pay £lO towards the expenses of the proseoution.
