NORTH WAIRARAPA BENEVOLENT SOCIETY.

MEETING OF TRUSTEES. ; ( The monthly meeting of the Trustees of the North Wairarapa Bene volent Souiety was held yesterday afternoon. There were present:— Messrs R. T. Holmes (obairman), JEJ. Feist, J. Morris, jnr., and Mrs .Nioholls. A widow, aged 27 years, wUb three children, applied' fop'rent to the extent of 10s 6d per week. The appli cation was granted until next meeting. Mrlhcs. Duncan wrote resigning his position as seoietary of the Society. The chairman moved that the resignation be accepted with regrst. Mr Feist? feconded the motion, which was carried. On. the motion of Mr Feist, seconded by Mrs Nioholls, Mr C. A. Tabateau was elected secretary of the Society.

The pay sheet, amounting to £67 19s Bd, was passed for payment.
