A NAVVIES' STRIKE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 14. iifty-eight navvies employed on the oontraot for completing the tunnel through Mount Victoria have struck work. Their objeotion to contiuae work arises out of a dispute with the contractor as to the timbering work done by shift bosses. Men to take their places will be secured looally and from Auckland, and Westlaud.
