Dreadnought, wiGli' a fall complement of officers and men, shall begin a six months' cruise in December, conducting steaming and gunnery tests for the information of the designers of the new Dreadnoughts. Continental Powers hesitate to commence their newest battleships until trustworthy information i 3 procurable as to the Dreaduought's designs. ORDERS FOR ARMAMENT DISTRIBUTED. Received November 13, 6.44 a.m. LONDON, November 12. Orders aggregating nearly a million for the arma'nent of three Dreadnoughts, for delivery within two years, have been given to the firms of J. Brown and Co-, Cammell, Laird's, and Yickers and Maxim. The remainder: —amounting to over half a million—go to Sir W. G. Armstrong and Co., and William Beardmore.
