WAIRARAPA AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB.

A meeting of the Committee of the Wairarapa Amateur Athletic Clab was held last evening. There were present:—Messrs P. E. Robertson (chairman), J. J. Kelliber, J. Bradbury, E. H. Dixon, A. 0. Williams, G. W. Sellar and V. G, Darrooh. A letter was received from tho Cricket Club asking the Amateur Club to costpone their annual sports meeting on January 22nd, 1907, eo as to allow the Masteiton Cricket Club to hold a crioket match on that date. Th* letter was received. A letter was received from the Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Assouiation regarding the suggested alterations of the rule pertaining to the licensing of members. It was deoided to fall in with the views of the Wei- ' lington Centre. It was decided to oomtnence tha series of evening runs in I,he Park Oval, on Friday evening next, and the following Committee was ap pointed to oarry out all arrange ments for the rana:—Messrs E. Dixon, J. Bradbury, A. C. Williams, and G. W. Snilar. Mr E. Dixon was appointed handioapper and it. wan deoiried to close (be nominations on the eveuing previous, to the run.
