At the Presbyterian General Assembly the report of the Committee on the Hook of Order, whioh stated that the work was now ready for printing, was adopted, and it was resolved that thu work should inolude oonfessiou of the faith and, longer and shorter catechism. The reports of the Committee on tba Aged and Infirm Ministers Paul and Widows and Orphans Fund were adopted. The report on tha Foreign Missions was submitted nnd adopted. Mrs Milne, ot the New Hebrides, whu was to have spoken, was ill with Island fever, and could not attend. Addresses were given by Misses MoGreeor and Aloore and Dr Kirk. The report on the Woman's Training Institute stated that since tb« last report Miss Anderson and Mis 5 * Mawson had been orduinod and 3ettled as missioaaries in China. Three others had been ordained as deaconesses. There had been six students in residence. The report was adopted.
