MASTERTON MUNICIPAL BRASS BAND.
ANNUAL MEETING. |
The annual meeting of the members of the Miisterton Munioipal Brass Band was held last evening. Bandmaster Russell occupied the ohair, and thare was about twenty members present. The annual report and balancesheet (the latter showing the receipts to have been £265 19s sd, and the expenditure £265 15s 2d, leaving a or. balanoe of 4s 3d) were adopted. The following officers Were elected: —Patron, Messrs F. Maunsell and W. B. Beefcham; President, The Mayor; Bandmaster, Mr G. W. Hutchinson; Drum Major, Mr F. Hunn; Seigeant, Mr E. Maher; Corporal, Mr H. Dixon; Gusfodian, Mrßriden; Treasurer, Mr J. Elder; Secretary, Mr F. O'Connor; Auditors, Messrs J. Prentice and B. Gardner; Committee, Messrs W. Clayton, H. Turner, R. Ward, K Martin, C. Volheim and offioers ex officio. "
The Secretary was voted a bonus of £8 for services rendered to the Band during the past. year.
