(Prom Oar Own Correspondent). BIDEFQRD, Friday. Shearing will commence in a number of sheds about here shortly. Most of the farmers are commencing shearing earlier than asnal on account of the fine weather. Bain fell here on Tuesday night, much to the jov of those people who depend upon tanks for their water supply. A few Masterton sports haveven tared oat heie with rod and gun, and have been rewarded with good bags. Great interest was taken in the bazaar which was held at I'inui on Friday last. Good business was done at all the stalls. The oonoert and danoe in the evening wan a decided success. The bazaar was held in aid of the Hall Fund. Mr J. Peroy, who had the misforfcune to lose one of his fingers through blood poisoning, is out of the doctor's hands, and is baokpgain at Tividale.
