MASTERTON A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the General Commitlee of tbe Masterton A. and P. Association was held on Saturday. There were present:— Messrs R. Gray (chairman), F. C. Lewis, J. Moßae, C. E. Danieli, T. P. Lett, J. Morris, B. Rayner, R. Johnstone, B, P. Perry, R. J. Dagg, J. D. Cruiokshank and D. MoGresfor, jnr. Tbe Finance Committee submitted the following financial statement:— Dr. balanoe at last meeting, £378 18s 4d; expenditure for the month, £4l 8s 6d; receipts for the, month, £7 13s; outstanding cheques, £9; £r. balance at date, £403 13s lOd. Accounts amounting to £39 16s 4d were recommended for payment. The Ground Committee recommended that the tender of Messrs Taifc and Baoon at £347 be accepted for the erection of cloak rjoms and latrines on the Showgrounds. The recommendation.was adopted. It was deoided to appoint the judges for the next Show' at a special meeting on Saturday, November 24tb. " Tbe following Committees were appointed to* canvass the undermentioned places for donations towards the next Show:—Wellington— Messrs G. C. Summerell, I. Syfaee, R. Gray, J. B. Moodie, J. D. Cruiokshank and D. Caselfcerg. Masterton— Messrs F. C. Lewis, R. J. Dagg, J. Morris, J. C. MoKillop, T. P. Lett and W. D. Watson. Carterton— Messrs W. Perry, J. Strane, G. W. Seller, B. Rayner, and G. R. Sykes. Greytown—Messrs Hugh Morrison and H. R. Wood. F'eatherston— Messrs W. Perry and Q. Donald. Lower Valley—Messrs J. Wall, A. Donald, J, MoMaster. Bush District— J. F. Heckler C. H. Smith L. J. iloore F. C. Turnor C. 1 Parsons, E. C. Tylee, F. O. Lewis, O. C. Cooper, J. B, Moodie A. Walkef, C. Kebbell and G. R. Sykes. Whareama and East Coast—Me'asra A. G. Pilmer, H. Toogood, W. Reside, I. Tafcbam, A. McOutchecn knd MoCutoheon. , * Mr Lewis moved that the Ground Committee be given power to make the necessary alterations to J;be new grandstand. Mr Summerell moved as an amendment that the matter be left over until after the next Show, After some disoussion the amendment, was lost, and the motion was carried. It wps deoided to hold a special meeting of tbe Ground Conrmittee on Saturday, 24th iust. The following new members were elected■ Messrs P. Kummer, R. Nitz, H. J. Nitz., V. Richards, F. Ford, H. Lee, A Frasor, J. Kennedy, £l. McPhee.
