ESTABLISHMENT OF FREEZING WORKS.
MATTER BEFORE A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
At the meeting of the General Committee of the Masterton A. and P. Association, on Saturday, a letter waa reoeived from the Masterton Chamber of Commerce asking that a committee be appointed to meet a committee from the Chamber to discuss the question of establishing freezing woxbs in Maaterton. Mr Lewis questiouod whether tbe Association, as a body, should interest itself with snob a proposal, as tbe establishment of a freeing works was really a matter for private enterprise. After a brief discission, the President and Messrs D. McGregor, jnnr., Lewis, Lett and J. Morris were appointed a committee to meet a committee from the Chamber of Oommeroe to discuss the matter.
