ATTEMPT TO ORGANISE A REBELLION.
RAIDING IN CAPE COLONY. POLICE CAMPS bURPEUSED. TWO TROOPERS WOUNDED. FARMERS FORCED TO JOIN THE REBELS. Received November I*2, 12.18 a.m. LONDON, November 10. It is officially announced that a Transvaaler, named Ferreira, with Beveral Boers, recently employed in German South-West Afrioa, is raiding the north-west of Cape Colony trying to organise a rebellion. They surrounded and surprited the police campa at Abeah and WiS kop, wounding two troopers and capturing arms and ammupition. After gaining some recruits Ferreira is marohing on Zwartmodder, forcing farmers to join him, and asserting that a rising is imminent. The Transvaal district raided is part of the Desolate Great Bushman Land occupied by a few graziers. . Lord Elgin-was at Downing Street late on Saturday night, and Mr t Cburobill was out of town. Ferreira has not yet been identified definitely. Dr JaraeßoA (the Premier of ( Cape Colony) sailed for Capetown on Saturday. He Is unlikely to hear the news until he arrives at tios •Palmas, Madeira.
