RIFLE SHOOTING.
13y Telegraph—Press Association. NAPIER, November 9. The shooting for the Coleman Shield Competition took place on the Waipawa range today. The weather was wet all day, and the targets got in £QOb a . state : that sbooting had to - be abandoned after tbe second range had been completed, and the competition has been decided on tbe positions at the end of tbe two rounds. The shield was won by the Woodville Rifles, with a' soore of 653, HawkeVßayjMounted Rifles second with 634, Waipawa Kifles third with 626, Tbe othar scores were:—Napier . Rifles 623, Dannevirke / Rifles - 614, Ranfnriy Rifles 595, Hastings Rifles 593. Napier Guards 566.
