ARBITRATION COURT.
AN UNUSUAL CASE. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 5. An unusual case was before the Arbitration Court to-day. This was a claim for £3OO, brought by Sarah Robinson against the Union Steamship Company on account of the death of her husband, .Edward Robinson, who was burned while attending to fires on the steamer Rotoiti, trading between Nelson and Wellington. Tie accident happened on August 21st of last year. Robinson was attended by a medical man on arrival at Wellington, and sent to his home in Auckland; He came back to Wellington and died in the district hospital on January 17tb from heart disease. The i«suo between the parties was whether the accident was the oause of the disease which led to his death. > The medical evidence was con* Acting, but the Court decided that its weight was in favour of the claim. Judgment was for the olaimant for £2OO, with 15 guineas costs, witnesses expenses and [[disbursements.
