The dbronicle states that the Dreadnought trials showed that it was neoessary to remove eight 12ponnder quick firers from the forecastle quarterdeck, in order to allow tha 12-inoh guns a olear range at all degrees of elevation. It is probable that the quick-firera will receive disappearing mountings.
