ABYSSINIA.
KING MENELIK AND THE AGREEMENT. LONDON, November 2. Sir Edward Groy, Secretary for Foreign Affairs, m reply to a question in the House, said the agreement between Britain, Italy, and France in connection with Abyssinia was not dependent upon King Menelik's consent, but was communicated to him for the purpose of showing that his interests were not adversely affected.
