JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. STAR B v. CARTERTON B. The Star and Carterton Juniors commenced their rnfitah, yesterday afternoon, when both sides played one innings eaob. The Stars made 79, the principal soorers being Bradbury 20, Haker 17,Taylor 11, Trusoott 8, and McLaren 8. Carterton compiled 51 runs in their first innings, Fairorother (21) beiug the only batsman to reauh double figures. For tho Stars, Bradbury bowled most successfully, tnkiug flvo wickets for three ruue. Spoouer, MoKenzieaud Paget bowled best for the visitors. | The match will be continued next week.
