THE MONEY MARKET.
Received October 29, 9.30 a.m. LONDON, October 28. The release of Japanese money at the end of the Stock Exchange settlement eased the the money market, despite £345,000 sent to Egypt. Three months' bills avejnow quoted at ss. Consols stand at'B6. The arrival in London of £1,014,000 in gold from South Africa assisted in improving the tone of the money market.
