Frederiubsen, who for the last five years has had charge of the New Zealand Dairy Union Creamery at.Newmau, will sever his connection with the company at the end of the present month, to take charge of the machinery department of Messrs Hoar and Baillie's factory, Eketahuna. Mr Frederickseu will be greatly misaedy by the suppliers, amongst whom he is very popular. The creamery is now receiving 700 gallon of milk pel day. The average test for the week ending October 13th was 3.5. Mr S. Dawaon, who has been for a trip to England, ia expected to arrive baok by the Atheuio about November 6th. Mr R. Noredll, of Atea, intends to permanently reside in Newman, having purchased a residence here. Mra Dowsett, senr., wife of the Postmaster at Newman, who has been seriously ill, is now improving in health. Mr P. Dowsett, who has also been ill for some time, has now recovered. The Kongomti Rifle Club held a prectice yesterday at the 500 yards range. The rough. weather militated against good shooting.
