AMERICANS add new verse TO OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM. \ A rtmnrkablo Anglo-American demonstration took place in New York recently, when the 71st Regiment of the National Guard welcomed 88 their guests 400 Canadian soldiers, including many South African veterans. Americans and Canadians joined in singing a new verse of the National Anth&m, specially composed for the occasion. It ran as follows: ! God watch our rulers o'er Edward and Theodore, Rulers wo love. Send them victorious, Long to rule over us, In peace more glorious, Reign Thou above.
