(LONDON, Ootober 18. The Governor of Aunam has trained his guns on the Emperor's Palace, and threatens to depose him.

The Emperor's atrooious cruelties are inoreasng. He killed and cooked one of his wives, and compelled the oourtiers to eat her. tie also immersed other of his wives in boiling oil. Not satisfied with that atiooity, he tied thirty women to posts and shot them one by one with a bow and anow from a police window.
