TRUST LANDS TRUST.
i MONTHLY MEETING,
The monthly meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands Trust ..was held last; evening. There were present— • Messrs O. E. Daniell (chairman), T. and T. B. Miohell. Apologies for absence were, received from Messrs J. A. Renall and E. Feist. The Treasurer reported a dr. balance of £2lB 14a 9d. Accounts amounting to £66 5s lOd were passed for payment. Mr J. Candy waited on the meeting and asked for a rebate ou the obarge made for the use of the Town Hall on the oocasien of the Orobestral Society's Concert, It was decided to refund half the amount charged. Rev. Dean McKenn? waited on the Trustees in support of an application made some time ago for a grant of £2O towards St. Patrick's School. It was decided to grant the sum of £lO. Adjutant Powick askel the Trustees for a rebate on the oharge made for the Town Hall for the Biorama Company and Austral Lasses' Band. It was decided not to grant any rebate. A vote of tbanka was to Mr A. W. Hogtr. M.M.8., and the Hon. H. Feldwick, in connection with the passing of the Master ton Trust Lands Trust Empowering Act Amendment Bill. It was decided "that power be naked of the people to spend £6,000 to build business premises on part Town Acre 2 or 72 situated in Hall Street." The Secretary was instructed to prepare the necessary document in connection with the proposal.
