LONDON MARKETS.

Received October 15, 8.36 a.m. LONDON, October 14. At the rßbbit skins auction 2,816 were offered and 2,709 were sola, the bestat a penny advance, ordinaries from a penny to twopence. The rabbit market at Home is depressed owing to mild weather curtailing the demand. The sale of a damaged shipment, ex-Oawke's Bay. at about 10s, disturbed the market. Prices are nominally unchanged. Traders estimate that there are between two and three hundred thousand orates in oold storage. The frozen meat quotations are as follow:—Sheep: Canterbury, light 3%d, medium 3%' d, heavy 3> n d.; Southland and North Island, 3%d. Larubs: Canterbury, light 4%d, medium & 5-lGd, heavy i%&\ Southland and North Island, 4}:jd. New Zealand beef: Fair average quality, forequarters 2> e d. River Plate sheep: Heavy 3.Vijd, light 8 5-16 d.
