A dip that has been used very extensively in New Zealand and Australia in past years, uud likely to be still more sought after this cumiug season is that of Messrs Quibell Bros., Newark, England. From ovideuoo of an indisputable nature to hand it is clearly demonstrated that "QuibeU's Dipa" have given immeuso satisfaction to Rome of the largest flock-owners in Australasia. The faot that the firm have testimonials from such breeders as Mr Henry Dudding (Kiby Grove, England), the renowned breeder of Liuoolns, and Mr John Horsfall (Widgiewa, New South Wales), the famous breeder of Merino sheep, is sufficient to indicate the reliability of tiioir dips. The efficacy of the Improved Powder Dip in destroying all forms of shenp parasites, protecting the animal from re-infestation and imparting lustre combiner! with softness of touch to the wool, is one of its most salient features. The difii oulty of mixing, which is ncticoable perhaps in many other powder dinß, is iu this preparation entirely overcome, while there is added a new ingredient which effectively counteracts the hnrsheniug effects of the arsenic and sulphur on the wool. Quibell'B Dip is moreover very useful as an antiseptic dressing for. cattle, horses and dogs, besides being highly efficient as a disinfectant. Messrs Dalgety and Co. are the sole agents throughout the North Island for the dip.
