Received Ootober 3, 8.30 a.m. NEW YORK,' October 2. The hurricane io the Southern States did enormous damage to the cotton crops, with tbe result that preat speculation has been caused in New York. The prices rose seventy points in two days—equal to 14a per bale. Ihe rise is reflected in too Liverpool market.
