ST. PETERSBURG, October 3.
General Riakevitsh, military prosecutor at Ashkabad, has been assassinated. An attempt was made to assassinate M. Ussakouuki, president of the Courtmartial, but failed, a junior officer killing his assailant.

MURDERED,
Received October 3, 11.4: p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, October 3. ' M. Lager, manager of Mobel's works, and Swedish Vice-Consul, was attacked and killed while out driving on the outskirts of Batoum. Ihe aasassin escaped.
