AN INTERESTING RETURN.
Reoeived September 28, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, September 27. The Board of Trade returns relating to foreign oommeroe during the past six months of the current year show that Germany's exports increased by £13,000,000, and Britain's £25,000,000 compared with the same period last year.
A BATTLESHIP DAMAGED. Reoeived September 28, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, September 27. During the gun trials at Plymouth the joncussion resulting from tbe firing of tbe 12-inah guns damaged the stanchions of the battleship Hibernia and light deck fittings. A part of the deok opened in several places, and the upper deok was temporarily deflected.
