LONDON WOOL SALES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Received September 27, 7.36 a.m. LONDON, September 26. At the opening of the wool sales, 13,169 bales were offered, including 8,000 from New Zealand. Theiq was a large attendance, and good competition for combing sorts, bat New Zealand fllipes were very weak. Merinos remained unchanged from the dosing prices of July sales. Fine crossbreds were very firm, with an American demand. Coarse orossbreds were at pa* 1 to a halfpenny lower. Combings and slipes a halfpenny, clothing slipes a penny to three-halfpence lower. Merinos are very firm. Crossbreds are'weak.
