CRICKET.
EKETAHUNA CLUB. A meeting of the Kuetahuna Cricket Club was held in Messrs Wise and Knitzlit s rooma, on Tuesday, says the Expross, t# receive the report of the delegates that had beea deputed to wait on tho Masterton Cricket Association. There was a fair attendance ol' members, and Mr Tripe oncupied tho chair. After hearing the report of the delegates, which was not at all favourable, it was decided not to enter for the Mastertou Thursday Championshin. The secretary was instructed to write to Messrs Edwards and Darroch thanking them for the trouble they had taken iu the interests of the club. It was decided tc writ a to tho different Friendly Society Lodges in Eketahuna, asking them to send delegates to a committee meeting to be held on Wednesday uexr, for the purpose of infusing interest into local cricket. _
