CARTERTON SHOW.

The annual show of the Wairarapa and East Coast P. and A. Sooiety is again drawing near, and promises to receive an even greater share of support than in paat years. The programme of the show has just been issued. In the competitions,, both on tbe first and second days of tbe show, tbe visiting public have been well catered for, there being no lack of interesting events. The jumping at the show is always of a very high order, and besides these there are walking, trotting, and driving competitions. The buck jumping competition, which caused such intense excitement last year, is again to be included in the second day's events. There is little alteration in the classes of the various sections of stock, but tbe Society has added materially to its prizes, and there is no doubt but that these are allotted on a liberal soale. Intending exhibitors will do well to peruse the Society's schedule.
