(Prom Our Own GorresDondent). \ On Monday last $ meeting of all the lesidenta waa held in theNiteaba Public Ball to appoint a Gomtnittee to attend to the clearing of the old school ground. The following Oommittee waa appointed:—Messrs T. Mason, Bussfc, MoDonnld, MoKenzie and Bardymew. The money already in hand amounta to £lO and tenders will be called shortly for the work. The Sawimllera at present seem to be very busy. Sometime ago *he County Council gave an order for biidge timber for a creek in Atea. The order ia now at the fourth mill and yet no timber appears. Although the dairying does nut start in earnest until October, quite a number of suppliers are running to the Factory and Creamery.
