PIANO FOR FERNRIDGE SCHOOL

DEPUTATION WAIT ON THE TRUST LANDS TRUSTEES.

Messrs G. H. Perry and H. Evans waited on the Trust Lands Trustees, last evening, and asked for special financial assistance on behalf of the Femtidge School. The deputation pointed out that the new muster desired to obtain a piano for the school. They also stated that the cleaning expenses of the School were very heavy. The Committee had a credit balance of £l3, but there were a number of accounts outstanding. The average attendance at; the School was 71, and the capitation earned was between £3 and £4 per quarter. Oa the motion of Mr Feist, it was deoided to grant £lO towards the cost of a piano.
