Two boys, while fishing in a lagoon at Albert Park, found a parcel floating in the water. An examination showed the contents to be a portion of tbe body of a man. The flesh had been out from the lower portion of the tiunk, but no trace of bones was found. A seoond parcel showed a mixture of human organs, adhering to which was a granular substance that seemed to be sawdust.
A remarkable feature is the at sence of bones, which suggests the possibility of a gruesome joke on the part of medical students. The police, however, regard it as a case of murder.
