I At Odessa an official was sentenced j to three years' imprisonment, though it was proved that he personally killed two Jewish families, comprising 11 persons. INCOMPETENT EXECUTIONER. Received September 20, 8.57 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, Sept 19. Eye witnesses allege that the incompetence uf the executioner, who was pardoned among the Sveaborg mutineers, prolonged for half-an-hour the sufferings of tbe girl, Konopli Anniko, who was sentenced to be hanged for the murder of General Minn, commander of the Semenoffsky Regiment, at Peterhof railway station, on August 26th, and who was executed at the burg prison.

THE THREATENED OUTBREAK AT ODESSA. GUARDING THE [CONSULATES. Received September 20, 9.18 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, Sept. 20. The Consuls at Odessa requested the authorities to guard the Consulates. The request has teen granted. M. Stolypin has declared that j the Government will not permit further massacres.
