The companies sent through New Zealand by Mr J. C. Williamson are invariably oordially weloome because they are invariably of the highest quality and probably among the many that have appeared during the last few years, none has a more firmly established than the combination beaded by the distinguished young dramatic sta,r, Mias Tittell Brune. The announcement of another two nights'season by this popular artist, oommonoing at the Town Hall on Thursday next, September '27tb, will no doubt be re ceived with hearty favour by playgoers. Two plays entirely new to Masterton will be presented. The opening production will be the stirring stage version of Charles Major's famous romance "Dorothy Vernon of Haddon Hall," by Paul Kester, which, it is said, has proved one of the greatest successes Miss Tittell Brune's long repertoire of plays. Firßt produced in Australia at his Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne, it secured an immediate success, and attracted large audiences during the six weeks of itf» run. During the recent Sydney and Wellington seasons of the Comnany it has repeated its Melbourne triumph. The other new piece is "Leah Kleschua." Box plans for the two nights will be opened at Mr Boilings', to-morrow (Saturday) morning at 9 o'olooK.
