RAND LABOUR LEADER ACQUITTED. Received September 20, 8.45 a.m. JOHANNESBURG, Sept. 19. Ratoliffe, a Rand labour leader, who was charged with perjury in connection with statements of oruelty to Chinese doolies, has been acquitted owing to the Chinamen's conflicting evideuoe.
