IN SEARCH OF TREASURE.
Received September 13, 9.48 p.m. CAPETOWN, September 13. A Cape syndicate has chartered a steamer to outstrip tbe steamer Euia, which recently left in search of a treasure island off the coast of Africa. The Cape Government, believing the expedition meaus to land at one of the Guauo Island*, near Angra Pequeri, intends to forbid the prospectors landing.
