CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.
.By Telegraph—Press Association. OHRISTOHUROH, Sept. 10. - Georgina Frances Brown, Matron of a private nursing homo, appeared before Mr V, G. Day, S.M., at the Police Court this morning, charged with manslaughter. Tbe information alleged "that ou August 6th, at Ghristehurob, by omitting and neglecting to provide a newly-born infant of one Clarence Bill Patterson with proper nare and attention, sho caused tbe death of the said infant, and " was thereby guilty 'of manslaughter " Tho nocused was remanded for a week on bail.
