. THE CONFERENCE CLOSED. Reoeived September 10, 8.38 a.m. LONDON, September 9. As tbe result: of a long discussion, tde Trades Union Congress resolved that a Bill be introduced in tbe next sesaion of Parliament, embracing State maintenance of skilled medical attendance for all children in State sohools and free secular education from primary scbocl to university. Tbe congress has closed. (The congress was composed of representatives of trades unions, either working £.t their trade or paid union officials. Unions were entitled to send one delegate for erery a,OOO members or fraction thereof. At the congress last year there were 151 organisations, with 1,469,514 members, represented by 458 delegates; at tbe conference jubt olosed there were 490 delegates present, representing 1,500,000 members).
