NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING.

G3RISTGHURCH, Sept. 8. The New Zealand Golf Championship Meeting will commence on Monday morning, at the Shirley Links. A large number of players from all parts of the colony are taking part, and many of them have arrived. S. H. Gollan, of Napier (a former champion) is expected to win the championship, the runner-up probablycoming from HaroldWright, of Timaru, C. Treweek, of Christchurch, or le Tareha, of Napier (also a former champion).
