A match was played on the Masterton Showgrounds, yesterday afternoon, beween teams representing the Kia Kaha and VV.F.C.A. Hockey Clubs. The game, which proved rather exciting, resulted in a win for the W.F.O.A. by 16 points to 8 points. For the winners Hall, La Roche, Thompson and Muir soored tries, and Hall potted a goal. Baker scored two tries and converted one for the Kia Kahas,

The Golden Bay representatives arrived in Wellington too late yester- I day morning to oatoh the train lor Maaterton. Consequently the match i with the Wairarapa Thursday representatives was not played yesterday afternoon. The visiting team will arrive in Mastertoii by the mail train to-day, an<J the match will take plaoe on the Showgrounds thisafternoon. Play will commence at 3 o'clook.
