HOCKEY.
A practioe match between the Senior and Junior teams of the Wairarapa Ladies' Representatives was held in Eraser's Paddock yesterday afternoon. The senior team was not fully represented, the Lower Valley members being absent. The game resulted in a draw, eaoh side scoring two goals. The backs on both sides showed excellent form. The teams will leave for Wellington this afternoon to play matches against the Senior and Junior representatives of the Wellington Ladies' Association to-morrow. The matches will be played at Day's Bay, and the teams will go over to the Bay by the 1.15 p.m. hoat. They will return to Masterton on Monday. The Wairarapa representatives (men) will also visit Wellington today, and play a match against the Wellington representatives at Day's Bay to morrow. The Wellington and Wair&rnpa teams will go over to the bay by the 1.15 p.m. boat, and the matoh will be played in order to allow the Wairarapa team to return home on Saturday evening.
