Y.M.C.A.
There was a good attendance at tbe Y.M.O.A. last evening when a meeting was held for the purpose of considering the advl&eableness of starting a Gymnasium Club in oon nection with tbe institution. After several members bad intimated that a great deal of interest was being taken in the matter it was decided to form a Y.M.O.A. Gymaasiura Olub. Mr D. MoNally waa elected hon. secretary and treasurer. It was decided that practices be held on Tuesday and Friday of each week in the Y.M.O.A. Rooms, and that the opening night be fixed for Friday, August 31st. It was stated that the Board of Management had voted a sum of £5 towards the .cost of the apparatus, and a committee consisting of Messrs A. J. Parton, Bert. Donald, and the Secretary was empowered to procure material at once. All intending members are requested to hand in their names to the secretary before the end of the present week. Any member of the Association is entitled to take part in the gymnasium classes without any additional subscription.
