LYNCHING NEGROES.
RINGLEADER SENTENCED TO FIFTEEN YEARS. Received August 13, 10.50 p.m. NEW YOFK, August 13. The first conviction in the State of Carolina for lynching negroes was secured at Salisbury. The ringleader, named Hall, was sentenced to fif* teen years' imprisonment.
